Plain-English summary. We log basic visit data (IP, page, referrer, user-agent) for traffic analytics and B2B account identification — i.e., to know which companies are visiting. We do not sell your data. We do not run ad-network tracking. We do not share with third parties beyond the named processors below. If you are an EU/UK/California resident and want your data deleted, email
hello@pulserevops.com.
Who we are
This site (pulserevops.com) is operated by PULSE RevOps, a free revenue operating system maintained by Kory J. White, based in Stevensville, Maryland, United States. Contact: hello@pulserevops.com.
What we collect
When you visit pages on this site, we automatically log the following non-personally-identifying technical data:
- IP address (used for company identification and abuse prevention; raw IPs are retained for 90 days, then aggregated)
- User-agent string (browser and OS)
- Page path visited and referrer (the page or link that sent you here)
- Coarse geographic location derived from your IP (city / region / country)
- Inferred company affiliation when your IP resolves to a known business network (described below)
- Session-scoped first-party cookies used to deduplicate visit alerts and cache the live library entry count
If you submit a question to "The Machine" or offer a thought through the knowledge gate, we additionally store the text of your submission so the autonomous research agent can learn from it. Submissions are stored without your name or email unless you explicitly include them.
What we do NOT collect
- We do not run third-party ad-network tracking pixels (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads remarketing).
- We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
- We do not require accounts, signups, or login to use the site.
- We do not request payment information.
How we use it
- Traffic analytics — to understand which content resonates and where visitors come from.
- B2B account identification — when an IP resolves to a known business network (e.g., a specific company's office or VPN), we log the company name. This helps us understand which companies our work is reaching. This is standard B2B website analytics and is sometimes called "intent data" or "reverse IP lookup."
- Operational alerts — Kory receives an email when a real human (not a bot) lands on a key page, so he can manually follow up if appropriate.
- Cost and abuse controls — per-IP rate limiting on the live AI Q&A endpoint to prevent runaway costs.
- Knowledge library improvement — questions and offerings submitted to "The Machine" inform what topics the autonomous research agent investigates next.
Third-party processors we use
To run this site we share limited data with the following service providers, all of whom are bound by their own privacy obligations:
- Netlify (Netlify, Inc.) — site hosting, function execution, and persistent storage. Netlify Privacy.
- Anthropic (Anthropic PBC) — receives the text of your live AI questions to generate answers. Submissions to The Machine pass through Anthropic's API. Anthropic Privacy.
- IPinfo.io (IPinfo, Inc.) — reverse IP lookup for company identification. We send your IP, receive back company / ASN / geographic metadata. IPinfo Privacy.
- Resend (Resend, Inc.) — transactional email delivery for visit alerts to the operator. Resend does not see visitor data; only outbound operator notifications. Resend Privacy.
- Google Search Console (Google LLC) — receives only anonymized search-impression aggregates. No visitor data is sent here.
- Mermaid CDN (jsDelivr) — serves the diagram-rendering library. No personally identifying data sent.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies (set by pulserevops.com directly) for session-scoped functionality:
- A session token used to deduplicate visit alerts (so one human reload doesn't trigger duplicate operator emails).
- A localStorage flag that lets you skip the auto-tour on the dashboard.
- A short-lived cache of the live library entry count.
We do not set third-party cookies. We do not run advertising-network or social-media tracking cookies.
Data retention
- Raw IP addresses: 90 days, then deleted.
- Aggregated company-level analytics (e.g., "Salesforce visited the press release page on 2026-04-29"): retained indefinitely as part of business analytics.
- Knowledge library submissions: retained indefinitely as part of the public, autonomously researched library.
- Operator visit-alert email logs: retained per Resend's standard practice (up to 30 days).
Your rights
If you are a resident of the European Union, United Kingdom, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah, you have rights under applicable privacy law (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA / CPRA, CDPA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA respectively) including:
- Right to access — request a copy of any data we hold associated with your IP.
- Right to deletion — request that we delete any logged data tied to your IP.
- Right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your data (we do not sell or share for ad-network purposes anyway).
- Right to non-discrimination — exercising any right above does not change your access to the site.
Email hello@pulserevops.com with the IP or approximate visit time and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If material changes are made to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where required by law, post a notice on the homepage for 30 days following the change.
